Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IITG) has released an employment notification for the recruitment of 10 Junior Engineer (Trainee) Posts in the Infrastructure Planning and Management (IPM) Section at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati. Discipline-wise vacancy:

Civil Engineering: 07 Nos.

Electrical Engineering: 02 Nos.

Mechanical Engineering: 01 No. 

 

Duration: Contractual Appointment for 11 Months (may be extended for another 2 terms of 11 months each based on satisfactory performance) 

 

Pay Matrix Level: Consolidated stipend of Rs. 25,000 (Rupees twenty-five thousand only) per month will be paid during the contract period. Free hostel accommodation may be provided, subject to availability.

Age Limit: The maximum age limit of the candidate should be 28 years.

Educational & Other Qualification: Must have a three-year Diploma in Civil / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University / Institute. 

 

Preferred Experience: Candidates having prior field experience in areas such as building maintenance, preparation of technical estimates, tender preparation, and other site-related works will be given preference.
