Eligibility Criteria of RBI Office Attendant
Recruitment
Age Limit: Age of the candidates must be
between 18 and 25 years as on 01/01/2026. Candidates born not earlier than
02/01/2001 and not later than 01/01/2008 (both days inclusive) are only
eligible to apply.
Age Relaxation: Category-wise age relaxation is
as mentioned below.
# SC/ ST: 5 years
# OBC: 3 years
# PwBD (Unreserved): 10 years
# PwBD (OBC): 13 years
# PwBD (SC/ ST): 15 years
Educational Qualification: A candidate should have passed 10th
Standard (S.S.C./Matriculation) from the concerned State/UT coming under the
Regional Jurisdiction of the Recruiting Office to which he/she is
applying.
Higher Qualification: The candidate should be an undergraduate as
on 01/01/2026. Graduates and candidates possessing higher qualification are not
eligible to apply.
Language Proficiency: Candidates applying to a recruiting office
should be proficient in the language (i.e., know to read, write, speak, and
understand the language) of the State/UT falling under that office.

Selection Process of RBI Office Attendant Posts
The selection
process of RBI Office Attendant Posts consists of Online Test and
Language Proficiency Test (LPT).

An online
test of 90 minutes duration will be held. Candidates will have
to qualify in each part of the online test separately. There will be negative
marks for wrong answers in the Online Test. 1/4th marks will
be deducted for each wrong answer.
Language
Proficiency Test (LPT)
The candidates provisionally shortlisted from the online test will have to undergo a language proficiency test (LPT). LPT will be of qualifying nature and will be conducted in the Official / Local Language/s of the State concerned. Candidates not proficient in the Official / Local Language as per LPT shall be disqualified.
Final Selection
Final
selection will be on the basis of candidate's performance in the online
examination (in the order of merit), qualifying in LPT, Medical fitness,
verification of certificates, etc. to the Bank’s satisfaction. Decision of the
Bank in this regard, shall be final. Appointment of selected candidate will be
subject to his/her being declared medically fit as per the rules of the Bank.
